I agree, I would love a team to go the opposite route, a big frontline where 2 of your top 3 scorers are on the block/in the lane. Get every rebound and take higher % shots.
You would get smoked ala OKC from 2017-2019 or Cleveland's Timofey Mosgov experiment.I agree, I would love a team to go the opposite route, a big frontline where 2 of your top 3 scorers are on the block/in the lane. Get every rebound and take higher % shots.
You mean the grind house Grizzlies? You work so hard for those 2 points and then the warriors would just hit back to back 3's.
shyt sucked fam.
I mean a more talented group I guess. Marc was great but by then ZBo was on the downside of his career. You mean the grind house Grizzlies? You work so hard for those 2 points and then the warriors would just hit back to back 3's.

Brehs mumble about wanting 90's ball back but then when they have to watch 90's ball in direct contrast to a modern offense they hit theThis subforum should love DeRozan and LMA the way y'all talk
They both play like it's still the 90s yet they don't get any love on here.
But you should also dominate the boards and have more second chance points/shot attempts. You would get smoked ala OKC from 2017-2019 or Cleveland's Timofey Mosgov experiment.
Its a huge misconception that the extinction of the post game is due to big men being forced to shoot 3's.
It's because big men now have to GUARD against 3 point shooters on the perimeter so they have to have the foot speed to do so.
Having two slow, lumbering big men trying to guard a stretch 4 and 5 is suicide. You're trying to beat 3's with 2's...it doesn't work.
The 3 point shooter only has to hit 33% of his shots to match your 2 point shooter at 50%
Edit:
Perfect example.
