Norfeast groovin…
I’m tryna tell you this a copy cat league literally .. soon as a team get a dynamic paint player or 2 and start winning by rebounding and scoring in the paint teams gonna look to do the same

To me that speaks to the amount of trash organizations out there. No creativity or ability to forge a path of their own. The Warriors can play that style because it fits their personnel and they’re the best at it. A trash team can’t just suddenly adopt a crazy idea like copying the Warriors without having all those same things. But fukk it, just shoot a bunch of threes right?

the Warriors literally had the perfect personnel .. even if they just had steph being maybe the greatest shooter it wouldn’t had worked, they had Klay too, who to some is the best shooter of all time while also being a nasty ass defender .. then added Kevin Durant .. shyt was just perfect other teams just see they shoot 3s and think oh well fukk it just shoot :snoop:

this is part of the problem. there really haven't been that many dominant post up bigs in league history, but people assume that if a big from back in the day scored a lot of points he must have done so through back to basket offense
Yeah, this is a great point.

His replies are full of analytic cacs shytting on him smh.

But this is happening across all sports. If you actually watch what's happening on the field/court/pitch the quality is lower. The numbers might be nice, the casuals might find it easier to talk about, it may get a bunch of nerds jobs, but the sport, the shyt you can't quantify is gone.

The thing is, he doesn't actually believe any of this shyt.

He has been going after the Rockets on Twitter and every TV broadcast he does for the last 3 months.

This is just him angling the anti Rockets and Harden narrative to troll Rockets fans.

He will praise shyt the Suns do that goes against what he is saying here repeatedly cause he doesn't care about it, just to go at Rockets fans.

Brehs mumble about wanting 90's ball back but then when they have to watch 90's ball in direct contrast to a modern offense they hit the:scust::hhh::picard:

I never heard anybody complaining about seeing the Bulls, Sonics, Rockets, Knicks, Magic, Lakers, Heat, etc., during the 90s. It was just a much better brand of basketball.

Let's also add Green an undersized guy with the ability to guard bigger guys effectively. Other teams can't match their personnel.

Oh yeah definitely but I was talking about the shooting part but yeah without Draymond the defense wouldn’t been what it was

And he's absolutely right. Basketball is not a math equation. People who should be mathematicians or working in Finance are leaving their fingerprints on the game in a negative way. The mid range shot has been called a bad shot. They call a long two a bad shot. How can a 17 foot jumper be a negative if it nets you two points? There needs to be more pushback against analytics. They're ruining the NBA the same way they have baseball.
Everything is a math equation.

Everything:manny:

I agree with the rest of your post tho

I also think the mid range shot is making its return it just ain't happening fast enough for nikkas yet:manny:

You mean the grind house Grizzlies? You work so hard for those 2 points and then the warriors would just hit back to back 3's.

shyt sucked fam.

that was just a bad match up.....

the warriors RAN them to death and moved the ball....

most of those 3s were from ball movement....not isos
