Baltimore is bad but then theres a lot of neighborhoods and cities that are just like Baltimore in america.
I just think that the US and the UK have their own personal agendas. They certainly aren't about helping the island. They sure did a lot to fukk it up throughout its history. That's what's absent in a lot of these types of articles which 9 times out of 10 comes from the US or the UK. They never give the history or leave out what the US and UK involvement into making Jamaica into a poor crime ridden place. That's why I really don't care to read or hear about these things like what's going on in Jamaica didn't just become a murder haven over night. The US and the UK created that shyt.
Baltimore aint bad, just certain sections are real poor. Its a regular city, nothing metropolitan about it, and people let fear over take them when they hear shyt, especially when "the wire" was popping. I'm from Brooklyn, and grew up when it was BAD, and it still wasn't that bad to me as long as you new where to stay alert at. Don't get me wrong, it was not a cake walk, but it wasn't desert storm everyday!
With jamaica I think its a problem because from what I've read most of the murders are in the rural areas, that's crazy because you could kill someone and get away with it. And the population isn't that big, the whole country is almost the size of Brooklyn in population.
As far as America making it a bad place, that may be true, but that doesn't take away the fact there is a problem. To me black people all over have to look at ourselves when we have power to control certain things, and yet we still don't. In places where blacks are in government in the u.s., there is still whites in power behind the scenes. This is why in places where the police are held accountable like Brooklyn or Baltimore, and the prosecutors sought to stop it, they were prevented by the police unions. I don't know the reasons for black countries, but in places like Jamaica I constantly see other black people selling each other out, so I don't think its fair to place a huge blame on the U.K or the U.S.
