this is what i was listening to........ while most ninjas front and act like they
was playing Dead Presidents and All Eyes on Me....... no lie.....in New Orleans
major artist didnt get no play....... i tell dudes all the time.......East Coast music had
no impact on part of the world......we always played Pac.....but New Orleans was a
CMR city
......so believe when this dropped Jay-Z was looked at as a Fux-Boy.....

15 yrs later i hate to see BG doing 14 yrs......but Jay-Z is still a fux-boy....

Somewhat true. New Orleans was west-coast friendly. If it wasn't CMR, No Limit, or Rap a lot. nikkas was bumping Death Row and Ice Cube. New Orleans really didn't fukk with NY music.

no replies? this place must be chump city.

where the real homeboys from around the way stay at on here?

Most people here are corny white kids from the suburbs who probably grew up listening to coldplay and never used dirty words before and all they talk about all day is eminem jay z and lil wayne

chopper city is a classic album. All on U vol 1 and 2 and Chopper city in the ghetto are even better

Man do yall realize how old dude was?............I mean even the cover has never been duplicated...dude captured New Orleans in a time capsule and recorded that shix....

I mean that whole CD is like annual CNN Report from the streets......dude was 14-15 when it dropped.....recorded most of it at 14..... and it wasnt no gimmick this was life for us.....
Me and BG round the same age......so its like he was tellin our story......my story...
dude up the street story....... the dude down the block story......man he channeled and locked in on this........mos def once in a lifetime era.....New Orleans Mid 90's......."Murda Cap"

whats funny is that people that dont even listen to southern rap, tend to argue me down for ranking juvi & bg ahead of wayne. and their whole argument is "he gotta be higher than them by now".

they also look confused when i say that turk was hotter than him in the hot boy era as well.

i hate people that like to argue just because.
