PC does all of this.
why would someone buy this instead of just emulation? :patrice:
Nothing wrong with collecting physical stuff. I have physical copies of books and music I also have digitally. Games are no different. Plus you gotta remember some people are idiots.

Not in the obvious 'waste of money' sense... I mean some people will never understand emulation or checksums or the difference between a rom, iso, or bin file. They need it to be 'put this peg into this hole, press button' which the console fulfills.
Its the same reason there are H&R Blocks. There is no reason to pay another person to do your taxes really... you are merely paying for the luxury of never having to learn how to do the legwork. So there is a market for this, albeit it small... because the new generations are born with iphones in their hands. Actually... the younger mothers are on their phones and tablets for a large portion of the labor... so before that even.

And the people that direct download or stream porn but don't understand how to torrent... Oh man. :wow:
Once they understand the levels and tiers of debauchery they have been missing by not understanding how torrenting works its crazy. Same with foreign films, tv series, anime, games, books... you name it.
Once you can torrent the world is your oyster.:noah:

This is the Retro Freak. It’s promising to play games from the Famicom. SNES. Genesis. PC Engine. TurboGrafx-16. Game Boy. Game Boy Advance. Game Boy Color. And even the Supergrafx. Holy shyt.

It comes in two parts; there’s the actual console, which is a small box that takes care of all the actual work, then there’s a giant “adapter” which is where you plug all the cartridges in (the console slides in under the adapter). The console has various settings that let you change video (and conversion/upscale) options, as well as built-in cheat support. It also supports USB controllers, so you can plug just about anything in there.
Most interesting, though, is the fact it’ll let you install games from a cartridge onto the console (which looks like it’ll let you use a microSD card).

Currently announced only for Japan, if there is a Video Game God, it is time to pray to him/her/it, and ask for a Western release (or at least a semi-affordable import and some language FAQs).
