if i remember right most of it was recorded with a mic hanging from a ceiling fan in an apartment in Harlem.
they used to burn all the Dipset mixtapes there and print screen the tee's.

Jim might never get his credit of changing the game with the M-Box on the Macbook.
All Star weekend in LA (i think) everybody found out when they heard they were recording in the hotel.

Question when Cam switched his style was it because of Writer

Was it a Jay-Z and Young Chris type situation with the whisper flow

i can imagine so though. they all used to spit for Cam heavy, JR, Millz etc..i guess he took a shine to JR.

but if do remember right JR and Un Kasa were in the original format of Purple City which was supposed to be the record label from Bubz and Brasi. French Montana filmed the footage of them talking about it at a basketball court.

The Dips are fire, get your flyers,
posters, yall jokesters like Richard Pryor
nikkas Get Clapped Quick is one of the most underrated Diplomat related tracks of that era. JR bodied that song

“It get crazy at night
Heads and dope fiends craving the white
Right, that’s the 80s delight
I hit nikkas with so much rocks it like a Palestinian fight”

My Pops Forever RIP
First of all, de lo mio personal :blessed:

JR Writer had me believing in Dipset as a unit because let's be real, Freekey Zekey was there for the lulz and nobody really thought Jim Jones or Juelz were good. They were entertaining, but JR had the bars. Them Hot 97 Freestyles he had were crazy.

u-mad.net (best web site ever) had all this JR Writer related shyt that wasn't official but they were the Dipset Wikipedia so they had every freestyle or bar he put to wax.

JR writer was in my top 5 listenable rappers in 2005. Used to bump his shyt in my 92 Legend from Rochester NY to Charlottsville VA.

Can't front, I listened to a few tracks from the tape not so long ago and the beats, mixing, lyrics didn't age well. :manny:
