Here we go, policing dikks again. To me, this screams of insecurity. So many successful good looking black men married to black women, but this one bothered her? shyt is crazy to me :mindblown:

Listen man, people have been mixing for thousands upon thousands upon thousands of years. That shyt IS NOT AMERICAN MADE, nor is it a product of our times. But with slavery, everything got fukked up. So now if you date what you want or attracted to you're looked at as a sellout. As long as that person isn't being disrespectful to black women, then who gives a fukk?

To me, the problem is not with the lack of black men loving and putting black women first. The problem is the fact so many black women are insecure about it. AND IM NOT BLAMING THEM. I think the image of the black woman that is portrayed in the media is just disgusting. So in a way, I completely understand it. But there must be a point where one has to ask oneself whether this comes from their own personal insecurities. And then they must really think about whether the generalization is true (it's not), whether it truly matters (it doesn't), and does this have anything to do with that person's character.

There are copious amounts of people who do not understand this point! It’s mind boggling how much people who claim to be conscious struggle with this..

This is a good point. If you’re a good looking breh you’re going to get play from all kinds of girls. White women d all kinds of shyt to show interest in a guy. Sistas may be more shy or stand offish. Also let’s not forget as an athlete he’s probably going t generally be in contact with more white women than sistas. Dude isn’t going to tell abroad to put her titties away cuz he saving himself for a sista.

Like you said, people fukk with those who fukk with them! I do not want to start any controversy with people on this site, but I wish some people would understand the complexities of human interactions meaning..

There are some people who, for whatever reason, are attracted to a wide variety of people. Not everyone is exclusive with their dating and mating practices. For instance, If a man is in a drought and a woman happens to choose up on him or gives him hella cooperation, but she happens to be of a different ethnic background, then more than likely the man is going to do what he gotta do with said woman. It does not always mean that he rejects women from his own ethnic group. It simply means that he seeks female company and that race, culture and ethnicity becomes secondary or even a tertiary factor when dealing with a woman.

You got some people who don’t understand the above point. Then, wait until they find out that some people simply don’t get along or have consistent bad relations with certain members within their own ethnic group(romantically speaking) or there is somewhat of a disconnect(also romantically speaking), possibly due to a lifestyle or personality type of conflict/disconnect???Then factor in logistics, circumstances, etc. Oh, your point and examples in your post are also valid.

In all, people deal with those who deal with them, whether people outside said person’s relationship understands this or not. Oh, I will never understand why ANY man would allow his soul to wince over another other man’s dating choices and/or preferences as well as a woman. If people are not dealing with them on a personal level, then they should not concern themselves with what other people do or who they do it with or simply don’t fukk with the person whose dating choices goes against the soul wincer’s beliefs and convictions. Not everyone is meant to build with one another. *shrugs*

Just my perspective...

I remember back when this was making the news rounds. Jill caught a lot of criticism, esp from some within the black community. She was called bitter, racist etc. by many black publications. I think she was more so protective over the black family opposed to being “hater” because Jill’s very much one of those sistas that holds down black men. She has done it All throughout her career and it was disheartening to see the community not even try to understand her perspective on this subject.

My new friend is handsome, African-American, intelligent and seemingly wealthy. He is an athlete, loves his momma, and is happily married to a White woman. I admit when I saw his wedding ring, I privately hoped. But something in me just knew he didn't marry a sister. Although my guess hit the mark, when my friend told me his wife was indeed Caucasian, I felt my spirit...wince. I didn't immediately understand it. My face read happy for you. My body showed no reaction to my inner pinch, but the sting was there, quiet like a mosquito under a summer dress. Was I jealous? Did the reality of his relationship somehow diminish his soul's credibility
