Last year, I mentioned that Seattles secondary worried me. This year, the chiefs front 7 worries me. Alex won't nearly do to this offense what Eli did unless we continue to not call timeouts and were confused and we don't feel like defending the gawddamn slant. If we walk out of KC with a 21-20 win, I'll be thrilled.

nikka who WON the game? Ya'll killin me with this shyt

Cowboys fans running around like ya'll stomped the Giants ass. The Cowboys barely beat a severely flawed Giants squad. :whoa: Calm down, remember last year, Cowboys beat the Giants, then the Seahawks game happen. This year, the Chiefs game may happen.

Ya'll boys drinking the Jerry Jones kool-aid again. :heh:

This shyt is funny staying in Dallas. Boys be coming in to work the day after the Cowboys moody than a bytch. The Cowboys ain't winning shyt until Jerry Jones past away.

Its fun bringing the delusional Cowboy fans back down to earth.
You're not bringing anyone back down to Earth because most Cowboy fans do not trust our team and are very critical of that win last night. You're not telling us anything groundbreaking at all. Also, I don't care if either team is severely flawed after week 1. There are 15 more weeks to go to fix shyt.

We passed 33 times in the first half. We need to be more balanced. I think we're missing a speed back and hopefully Dunbar fills that void.

all 23 million miles of useful land
O line did pretty good. I was shocked at how much time Romo had to throw at time. Doug Free got pancaked so many times and push back like he was on roller skates at time.

Our secondary, what can I say.. its been our week link for years... I see no improvement from last year.

I'm not getting excited b/c we beat a mediocre Giants team. I think the game vs Chiefs will be a trap game. We always ho up, the following week after a big win.

I'm not drinking the cool aid yet.

The secondary will be better once Allen is benched. We don't even need Mo out there half assing it

Jones updates Cowboys' injuries
By Tim MacMahon
ESPNDallas.com

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys are confident that receiver Dez Bryant will be able to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs after an MRI showed he has a mild sprain of his left foot.

The Cowboys are more concerned about cornerback Morris Claiborne's dislocated shoulder, although he also returned to play against the Giants after suffering the injury.

"That's the one we'll have to keep a real eye on, just according to what degree it slipped out," owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM. "They had to put it back in. We'll probably have to brace that up pretty good, but there's a good chance he'll go."

Bryant injured the foot in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's win over the New York Giants and returned to the game. He is likely to be limited in practice this week but he has told ESPNDallas.com there is "no doubt" that he'll be ready to play against the Chiefs

"We think that it'll be something that we will watch this week but he can play with this week," Jones said.

The Cowboys are optimistic that defensive end Anthony Spencer will be able to make his season debut against the Chiefs. Spencer hoped to play in the opener, but he had a setback the previous weekend in his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery. Spencer has yet to practice since the July 25 operation.

George Selvie, who was signed by the Cowboys after Spencer's surgery, did an excellent job as a fill-in starter. Selvie had a sack and fumble recovery in the win over the Giants.

"We don't want to bring Spencer along any faster than we have to," Jones said, "but he sure had a good last two or three days before we stopped Sunday."
