A few things:

1. Which version of Brooklyn Zoo do you brehs prefer - the album version or the video version?

2. Because of you I'm hurting within my within my heart
I know it's not right to be flirting, but our relationship has to start
You're the one that I'm clocking, it's time for you to stop mocking :beli:
Don't want you to see me cry, this is why, THIS IS WHY, THIS IS WHY :noah:

3. How many of you remember the Shimmy Shimmy Ya remix with E-40 and MC Eiht?

Eiht made a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in the original video, so I guess it was already in the works.

4. Speaking of that song: same question: video version or album version?

5. NO! I'M THE BADDEST! HIP HOP MAN! ACROSS THE WOOOORLD! I DON'T CAAAARE! WHAT YOU CAAAAAARE! I JUST GIVE! WHAT YOU RECEEEEEEEEIVE! :noah:

I’ll put the first 3 songs up against the start to any album in hip hop history. The beat flow from “baby come on” on to “brooklyn zoo” is amazing.

I listen to the, back to back all winter every year

And its a GOAT and iconic cover

Damn i miss odb

Edit: btw, Baby C’mon is one of the most underrated songs and especially Rza beats of that entire era

This album is probably the one I listen to the most of the first round of solo albums. Not saying it's the best, but I feel it's the one that captures the ruggedness mixed with funkyness the most, as well as being the one with most off the wall styles. Always felt that RZA always had the most fun making tracks for ODB (same with later tracks like Black Mamba or N*gga Please)

And yeah that cover art is legendary
