I'm torn, the gameplay looks good. But I really did not like the story stuff they showed.

Definitely going to check it out but I can understand people being skeptical, especially with that price tag

I mean, they’re making a whole movie about it so if there’s not a immediate sequel its because SP want to do something else

I'm not expecting an immediate sequel; honestly, I'd prefer studios let series breathe between releases. Makes the return that much better. They just better not abandon it, which I highly doubt they will with the undeniable success. This sequel is only second to Ragnarok as far as what I'm most looking forward to rn outta Sony
