Album is out, listening now. shyt is cool but his whole style feels a bit one note to me, his delivery is very reserved. Appreciate the skits and story they're building with the album.

I agree with all of this. Someone on here last week said Vincent is dope but just doesn't have a ton of personality. I think I agree. I also feel like there's a lot of leaning on nostalgia bait on some of these recycled Doe or Die and Illmatic samples, even though they are done well. I don't know. I never like Vincent and 9th songs as much as I wish I did or as much as I think I should. But they're also good. I know that sounds weird
I know exactly what you mean bro. He fits in a similar category as rappers like Reason or Cozz where they just don't seem to have the ability to take it to the next level.
I always find myself checking for Reubens joints, hoping something will click but I never live with them or keep them on playlists for long.
I'll spin this album a few times, but even 9th is playing it very safe here.
