They could have Andrew Wiggins and Kyrie Irving on long term contracts, and be getting bounced in the second round for the duration of those. Claps to them. Or they could have won a title, and been to the Finals three straight seasons (and could've won two had Kyrie not gotten hurt).
Also, Kevin Love has been a better player than Wiggins over this time period anyway, and he's signed to a long term contract right now, for less money than Minnesota is paying Wiggins.
So from BOTH perspectives, the right move was made. Dummy/

I can't say definitively yes because Kevin Love didn't play at all against GSW in '15. If weed plate is there they might win that series, that would mean they would have the ring anyway. Love also didn't contribute much in the 2016 Finals wins (game 3 = DNP, game 5 = 2pts 3reb, game 6 = 7pts 3reb, game 7= 9pts 14reb). I have to imagine Weed Plate could have given that type of production. In 2017 there were no answers, nothing could stop Golden State.
