I don't respect someone who holds out every fukking year.

Like you signed a contact a year ago, that you now won't hold up.

That's flaky shyt, and he always been a flaky dude. And his sad sack eeyore poor old me shyt is quite pathetic.
Breh what are you talking about, he signed one year deals n shyt, this is business breh, you the type to be the best cb in the world and be like, ":skip: well golly gee i'll just play for 400k a year or else the media won't like me"
fukk that, go get paid 14 m a year instead:dead:

And Revis is only 31. He's had a bizarre career. The guys who got into Canton at corner all played well into their 30's. Revis is done at 31.

Does he even deserve the Hall?

2 wasted years at the end of his career in NYJ, a lost year in Tampa. Injuries.

He is best known for being a great for a short period, and bytching about his contract.

:mjlol: I'm sure Revis is losing sleep over this.

The NFL is cut throat and there's zero problems with players getting every dollar they can. You sound pro owner:mjpls:

Depends if the writers value peak over longevity. The nickname certainly helps too.

Law isn't in yet and Bailey is borderline so he probably falls into that category. He won't get in on the first ballot. It doesn't help that guys like Newman and PAC man are still playing at a relatively high level. The guys who are in played into their mid thirties too.

Not pro owner, just pro-holding people to their word.

If you ask for a new deal, get it, then come back a year later asking for a new deal, you're a clown to me.

Both players had more of an impact over time.

To me Tim McDonald should be in the HOF and isn't.

You know you're wrong he was not signing 1 year deals when he was holding out, because you cannot hold out on a year deal.

Have a good day though

Just a few hours after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released him, Darrelle Revis has agreed to terms with the Patriots on a two-year, $32 million contract, according to NFL Media's Albert Breer, per a Patriots source. ESPN first reported the news.

The team officially announced Revis' deal Monday.

The deal truly amounts to a one-year contract. Revis will get $12 million in 2014, and the team has a $20 million option for 2015. That figure will force Revis and the Patriots to revisit the contract a year from now; there's no way they'll pay him $20 million. Breer reports that the Patriots have designs on eventually locking up Revis with a long-term deal.
