Naw. This wasnt just any ole play. He got burned deep for a 1 handed catch and pulled that hammy. He was out for the 2nd half and for 3 or 4 weeks afterwards.

Revis is really insecure that he ain't a consensus best corner of this generation. Sherman was one of the integral pieces of the greatest defense in NFL history, there is no Legion Of Boom without Richard Sherman (nor would there be if some of the other guys were missing)...
Revis was an outstanding player but he highly benefits from the era in which he played, as do Sherm and these other guys as well. The last dozen years has been really cornerback-poor, if Revis played his prime in the window of, say, 1995-2007 or so, playing in the same league as Deion, Green, Aeneas, Champ, Rod Woodson, Barber, Charles Woodson all in their primes, as well as the second tier corners of that period from Dale Carter to Sam Madison, Revis would not be valued as highly....
Because that means his prime would have coincided with the primes of Moss, Owens, Rice, Bruce, etc...

Which is Revis' point, if they wanted to get Adams free, all they have to do is change where he lines up... Sherman isn't going to change sides(typically).
He's definitely trying to knock Sherman down a couple pegs but if you see what he said it's based in fact, but he's using it to cobble together a narrative which doesn't tell the entire story.
