You posted that like getting beat by Randy Moss making a one handed finger tip grab is a negative against ANYBODY.

The more i think about this the dumber this shyt looks. Arguably the 2nd greatest receiver of all time making a circus catch from arguably the greatest QB of all time is being shown as a negative against Revis.:mjlol:

I get that.....but only if you judging off the still shot. What was gross about it was how Randy threw his hand up to signal he had Revis after about 2-3 steps off the line. Revis was the definition of "burnt" on that play. It happens to the best of them, but the breakdown that you just gave sounds like it came from someone strictly looking at the still shot.

Revis not wrong though :manny:

Sherm is a read corner. He plays zone coverage, and read & reacts. And he's very good at that.

But he just isn't as good in man coverage. I can't see Revis letting Devante Adams go off for 9 catch & 138 yards in his prime. It's just not happening

I’m gonna agree with this take ... for the most part . Keep in mind , Sherman is def beyond his prime now, but still an above average corner .

I think a prime LOB Sherman doesn’t allow DA to get off like that for the record .

on the one big play he got ridiculously beat on, you can tell Sherm was struggling . Pre-injury, LOB Sherm doesn’t let that happen.

Meh.

Revis has a ring and worked the system better than maybe any player in NFL history. Dude got PAID his career.

Plus, history gonna be much kinder to Revis than Sherm when ranking all time cornerbacks.

Sherm got the juice now obv, but Revis ain’t taking any L. His legacy is solidified.

Sherm and Revis careers are basically like 6 one way a half dozen the other(stats and shyt are comparable across the board). They both HoFs at the end of the day.

Revis definitely sound salty. At 31 Sherman all pro and Revis was :flabbynsick:
When you only play half the field and can take plays off or take chances bc of coverage over the top you tend to last longer. Revis is right. If you want to say your the best cover the best and not whoever is on your side of the field in your zone

Both Prime Sherm and Revis let Stevie Johnson burn them. Adams is one of the few better route runners that run better routes than Stevie. It happens to prime Sherm as well. Hes always had trouble with burners
