And drafting him 5th overall with no experience was idiotic. That right there was the biggest indicator he wasn't the guy.

In hindsight they should have begged Favre a little bit more for one more season. He leaves and goes on to have an MVP like season in Minnesota....Jets luck.

but lets see how they lose. minny defense gives up 250 total yards, but favre has 46 passing attempt to AD's 25 rushes, and then throws the game away with a pick. minny has 5 turnovers
jets defense gives up 460 total yards. four hundred sixty yards, and they were a very good defense. including, colts scoring 24 points on as few as 5 drives in a row, with all but one ending in a score and being 50+ yard drive.

defenses win and lose games, easily. keep thinking would helped you jets D lost that game. it was a great D but it was shattered by colts. you would need an elite qb there to make a difference, not a bum ass favre lol

you're going to break down Brett Favre's 2009 season to one game? If Favre's the Jets QB all year they win the division., have at least one home playoff game and potentially two..and yeah in 2009 he definitely gives the Jets a better chance to beat the Colts defense than Sanchez does.

Shonn Greene got hurt on the first drive of the second half of the title game and the Jets couldnt get a first down after that.
