The Real Titletown
L.T. was a whiny little bytch, but he was better than Faulk, who has actually become a whiny little bytch since he retired.

BY THE WAY...

If I can get this shyt off my chest...
I remember that fukkin 1994 season. And the Dolphins should have beaten the fukkin Chargers but that goddamn son of a bytch Pete Stoyanovich missed a game-winning field goal.
And yeah, it wasn't an easy kick. And the snap was high. And the shyt was 48 yards.

But you gotta make that fukkin kick.

:martin:

I don't know if any Miami brehs remember that.

They lost the lead. I remember that. They would have probably beaten the Steelers.

The 49ers would have still crushed the Dolphins if they somehow got to the super bowl though so it's whatever :manny:

The Cowboys were the biggest threat to the 49ers that year and once they beat them...everyone knew that SB was a wrap. I tuned in for the commercials as a 10 year old kid so whatever.

Yea before my time it sounds like you one of the lucky fans who lived through the Marino era. I saw the last days of Marino matter of fact the best QB's I saw in a dolphins jersey was Jay fiedler and Pennington

The refs gave that game to the chargers, I'LL never forget that Bernie Parmalee safety where he was clearly out of the end zone

Dam breh, only team I can think of with a group of QBs more trash than the Dolphins since Marino retired are the Browns:skip:

Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers - January 15th, 1995 | Pro-Football-Reference.com
Irvin fumbled
Kevin Williams fumbled (I'll be honest, that name doesn't ring a bell and I watched those games)
And Aikman threw 3 INTs

Dan wouldn't have been so careless.

:whew:
Maybe :manny:

The 49ers just had something that season. Jerry Rice didn't even have a great game and they still beat the real threat they faced all season in the cowboys. Who would think that Michael Irvin would get nearly 200 + Emmit running for 70+ and still losing. Doesn't even make sense.

I remember these games because my uncle was a huge Cowboys fan and put me on to the NFL early.

Notice how many of these clips of Sanders are on the 49ers...he was god at corner that season. Got burned by an elite WR and they still won.

You wanna know how bad it has been?

A long time ago I was getting in arguments with coworkers because I wanted them to start Sage Rosenfels.
6'4, 220 and could run a little bit. :ld:
Part of me still thinks he could have been okay.

:mjlol:

Don't judge me. Our fukkin options were him or AJ Feeley :mjcry::snoop:

Yup, its exactly why I argue pound for pound that '99 Bucs defense is on par with the Ravens '00 defense..I remember watching the game thinking Dungy's days were numbered...Rams really did catch a break that entire play offs teams had figured them out...They are definitely a legendary team though i give em that.
I remember my fam being pissed that Tampa lost :lolbron:

They wanted to see a Super Bowl with 2 black QB's so bad with Mcnair and Shaun King

That late 90s-early 2000's Bucs defense imo is the GOAT defense
