“Rewarding yourself” with food for doing a basic activity is a slippery slope to :flabbynsick:

Using extreme examples here.
Exercise goals and high calorie/low nutrition food rewards.
None of the examples in the OP are extreme. I’ve seen the first example play out this morning (it inspired this thread) and my gym is across the plaza from multiple fast food places that stay packed with moderately over weight people that just left the gym :francis:

Lemme add another one

“Just worked out… gonna get a Jamba Juice (700 calories) to turbocharge my fat loss journey”

This thread is for YOU :picard:

You need a cheat day every week?
How many extra calories are you consuming on your cheat day above your Monday-Friday average?

Strength training isn’t burning more than like 250 calories an hour and cardio machines are wildly off in their calculations.
:yeshrug:I eat a healthy and workout for an entire week including Sunday. Saturday is my only cheat day where I also fast. I do believe that you can’t out work a bad diet. But I never go overboard with the food I eat on my cheat day. I basically eat one meal on my cheat lol.

Example :

You walked a mile for the first time in weeks so you make a pitstop at the Dunkin’ Donuts and “rewarded” yourself with a 500 calorie drink

You visited a gym for 30 mins kinda bullshytting, kinda worked up a sweat so you “reward” yourself with a 700 calorie double cheese burger

:unimpressed:
you must be climbing out the depths of injury purgatory...... I feel the fire and hatred for The Fats corsing through your veins.:banderas:.... I feel the intolerance amd disdain for The Plebs and Mediocres :scust:reverberating from you, just off the strength of you putting them on notice and stirring the waters by making this post. :blessed:

I sometimes "reward" myself with fast food for doing my cardio after I lift. :yeshrug:

I'm also a Tailed Beast, where tank tops year-round even in subzero temperatures, get called brolic non-stop, so there's that.

It's not a weight loss thing for me since I don't try to lose weight, but a self-discipline thing. If I can't summon the energy to go running I don't have the energy to pull up to the drive-thru or wait for the carryout. :manny:

This thread made me hungry so I just turned on my oven to cook up these synonym rolls. (Yes, synonym.) :feedme:

Empathy for the above mentioned parties has been removed from my system. Just disgust and disdain..:hhh:..... The Only Trill Thread on this Forum is of the Chosen Ilk :blessed: whom they have no choice but to worship and resent at the same time. That reminds them of their pitiful existence because they choose to be a follower of gluttony instead of a Disciple of Discipline... :scust:
