The final season should have been Doakes vs. Dexter.

Dexter being able to overpower a special forces operative was like the writers wrote themselves into a corner realizing how smart and dope this character was. The character was so dope they had to kill him off. He was special forces and intuitive, you couldn't get anything by him. He was the ultimate threat to Dexter.

Dude was Batman without the no kill rule.
