It's weird that Nas named the song after Jay-z's hook and not his own, "Black Militant".

From my impression Hov is saying that he feels like a black republican cause he's rich and far from the hood making moves with cacs. Generalizing republicans as rich corporate dudes (lol).
But deep down he's still a BK dude cause he's got love for his people and he'll probably end up there again. Pointless hook but the bars :obama:

To me the track is all about making the right choices in life, and how one bad choice can fukk your whole life up.

They both talking about the choices they made in their lives thus far and what it led to.

Couple of fat cats, couple of AI's
Dreaming of fly shyt in stead of them grey skies

Weak minds keep trying follow the street signs

Nas though, is just like an acrobat ready to throw himself through the hoops of fire :nas:

Are you a black republican or a black militant?

that song was only a big deal to jay-z lol. its not like it was a nas/big or nas/pac collab.
this was jay writing himself in on the ballot again
::francis:
You mean it was Jay-Z showing why he's considered one of the G.O.A.T.'s

:snoop: @ one of biggest rappers on the planet collabing with his former
rival not being "big".
