:wtf:

Idzik has been giving the man dogshyt to work with. Last year was a miraculous coaching job by anyone's standards and that's not even bringing up what he did while Sanchez was the QB. You can point at his record, but considering the talent he's been given he's done a pretty damn good job.

The best players on the team besides Mo are all Idzik players. The Rex/Tannebaum era produced zero talent. Rex has himself to blame and the only reason he's still here is because the owner loves him(and is an idiot).

What about 2011 and 2012, what did Idzik have to do with them years?

So many excuses.

Accept failure

Wasn't that the year Greg Mcelroy started because Sanchez shyt the bed? They brought it a clearly over the hill LT too? I never remember his teams getting full out destroyed for an entire season like they should've. Even when they're 1-6 they were in the games. It wasn't like Jacksonville last year

He has no desire to even try to understand the offensive side of the ball breh...

What young QB can succeed in a system where the Head Coach has no desire for offensive game planning??

If Rex had a vet QB, it would hide the cluelessness that he clearly has when it comes to offense..

He is not head coaching material....

He still has dogshyt for talent. I think fans too often blame coaches for the directives of the owner/front office and he had to roll with an owner that wanted Sanchez, Tebow, and now Geno (who has his good moments), but on your point that's how most head coaches work. They trust their coordinators. Also, in order to be as good as a d-coordinator as he is he has to have a very good understanding of offense. Any d-coordinator worth anything can also design an offense as well, but for any coach you're limited by your talent. He's not going to be throwing the ball all over the place when he has basic ass WRs.

Rex has himself to blame because he was allowed to steer the car? Whose the owner?

Rex was essentially the GM from 09-12. The roster and dead money Idzik had to turnover was basically the worst situation in all of football besides the Raiders. Look up the Jets 2012 roster, arguably the worst in football and had Rex's imprint all over it.

How do we expect Rex to run a defense with 9 first rounders on it? Poor Rex.

He's playing with CFL talent don't ya know.

And he wasn't the coach in 2011 and 2012, he can;t be held accountable for those teams.

The only reason he ever had a bad season was because Idzik gave him no talent, even though Idzik was only on the Jets for a thrid of his tenure

We can't fire the owner- but he's the biggest problem with the organization.
Not being fireable doesn't exclude my point of who to blame.

What have you changed about my point?

You haven't countered my point at all. If Rex was allowed to steer the wheel of who to draft, don't blame him. Blame the person giving him that much powers

"B-b-b-but the one responsible isn't fireable". :skip:

SO!!!!

I don't see a reason to blame anyone right now. The roster is under construction. But I don't think Rex has done a particularly good job with his in game management this year and it's been poor throughout his tenure. Burning timeouts, wasting challenges etc.

Crap answer. You blame Rex yet when it's time to point WHO is responsible...THIS is your answer?

This I can agree with, but I won't say that's fireable to the degree you have. His detachment from the offense is staggering

Huh? He's not a good in game HC. I'm not blaming the current GM who was forced to inherit Rex and clean up the mess he made. Rex himself said he got a clean slate when Tannenbaum was fired. Rex is partly or mainly responsible for Idzik being hired in the first place.

The Same QB's who just whipped us in the past 3 weeks Rivers, Brady and Manning. He's has beaten in the playoffs with Mark Sanchez.

Don't give me this crap about not being a good in game HC.

You could do alot worse than Rex Ryan.

Mike Tannenbaum and Woody Johnson is responsible for Mike Tannenbaum being fired.

You can't be serious. tannenbaum is responsible for his own firing. So you cant put it on rex for Idziks hire. As I said in my edit, I can't argue his detachment from the offense. Offensive Coordinators are given too much autonomy on this team

If you can't properly manage challenges and timeouts you're not a good in game HC.
