You've been repeating this rubbish. Sanchez had weapons. Geno doesnt
Sanchez had the #1 defense and the #1 rushing attack. On top of that that jets o line was fukking STACKED.

At one he had tomlinson, who actually looked rejuvenated, shonn greene was trucking dudes, keller was a solid TE, edwards was a good deep threat, holmes was perfect as the #2, and cotchery was reliable as hell as the #3, not to mention brad smith was a versatile weapon.

Sanchez had the keys to a ferrari and he couldnt even turn the engine on most of the time.

And when the talentblevel dropped he fell flat on his face and regressed.

Geno has no goddamn weapons thats the problem.

Our WRs are bottom five in the league, if not the worst. Our starting TE is a bum.

Thats why we suck in the redzone. Teams stack the box so we cant run it, and because its such a tight space in the endzone you cant scheme someone open there, and the wrs cant beat 1 on 1 battles.

Even the lions brehs saw this was the problem. Our WRs are ass.

Vick would in and nothing will change because nobody gets open.
But Vick can run a damn 4.3-4.4, so that does change something. Ya'll sound like ya'll conceding instead of trying every damn thing you can to contend.

:mindblown: dude is 34, injury prone and would line up behind this BUM

You guys really have NO CLUE surrounding this team besides the QB

I conceeded what we were before the season. In year two of a top to bottom rebuild who would be competitive, but not contending. We are 1-2 years away.

We need to know what exactly we have in geno. I was hoping thevlight would turn on for stephen hill and that decker would be our reliable guy and that 1 of 3 draft picks at wr would step up.

Instead hill looked he lost his heart halfway through preseason and got cut, deckers been hurt,1 of the picks had a season ending injury, another had a seizure and got cut, and the other is on ps.

Vick is 34 years old, injury prone and a turnover machine himself.

The funny thing is the jets currently have the #7 ranked defense, #9 ranked offense and all 3 games we lost have been by one score.

Geno isn't all that great but folk have no patience when it comes to developing QBs.

The impatience stems from the turnovers. It's tough to keep playing a guy who can't stop.

If you look at Geno Smith's turnovers, the majority of them are because he's trying to make plays because he has no talent around him. Geno is a guy with a lot of heart and he'd rather try to force a play than throw the ball away and punt. It's just who he is. Not saying that's always a good thing, but if he starts taking sacks or throwing the ball away on 3rd down instead of turning the ball over, the narrative isn't going to improve drastically. It will go from Geno is inaccurate and forcing throws to Geno is too conservative and isn't trying to make winning plays.

When Eric Decker, who has alligator arms, doesn't fight for balls, and doesn't complete routes over the middle because he's scared to get hit despite being 6'3, is BY FAR your best WR, then you have problems.

Give Geno Smith some decent receivers and an O-line that doesn't give him PTSD and he will be a pretty good quarterback. He will never be elite, but he won't lose you games either.

Plus Geno has shown flashes--give him time. He's learning. If you watch him, you can see the development. Despite what I said above, he DOES have to stop forcing what's not there.

David Nelson is a fukking starting receiver :dead:

Why do the Jets never seem to have any wr's? Who was the last good wr they had?

Cry about this shyt, but Russel Wilson won a SB with

Golden Tate, Jermaine Kearse, Doug Baldwin and Zach Miller.

It seems there is always an excuse for Jets QB's. I think Geno has a lot of talent, but as I always said he needs to limit the mistakes, and he hasn't. He's still the one throwing red zone picks and pick 6's on a weekly basis.

That says 2 things:

1. Wilson isn't the fiasco you thought he'd be

2. The Seahawks know how to find serviceable players late. We can't even find them early most of the time.

We haven't had a 1000 yd receiver since Jerricho

i think they need to just let him play out the season. fukkit. not like we winning the super bowl this year anyway. let geno play it out and see what u have. if he hits 25 turnovers again, start over again next draft. if he keeps it under 20 and hits 30 TDs pass/rush, then he's our starter for good. if he has a mediocre 25 total TDs and 20 TO season, bring in more competition at training camp next year and bring a fukking weapon or 2.
