Don't get the Quinn obsession. Carroll built that defense in his first 3 years going from 25th to 4th in defense. Gus Bradley, the "saviour" defenseive coordinator was a hot commodity just as Quinn is now. He went to jacksonville and lead their defense to a 27th and 26th total defense ranking, with the same or more talent than the falcons defense. Quinn is just the next fly by night "great hype" Seattle d coordinator. Hires like him are just surface hires and show you, your front office doesn't know what the fukk they are doing. How many of these coordinators working under great coordinators need to fail before we realize they are not the reason for the teams success and are just along for the ride?

Just like we didn't with Gus Bradley. Common sense says, Rex is the best defensive mind in the league. facts say that the falcons have the worst defense in the league and a good offense and qb. Common sense should tell you Rex was the right fit.
Rex Ryan's too unorganized to be a good HC....basically what it comes down to. Atlanta passed on Rex for good reason.
Dude, I don't fukk with the falcons but how could you not bring Rex in. He is pretty much the only guy out there who you know for sure he will turn around your defense.How many experts and analysts do you have to hear say Rex needs to be in Atl before you believe it? But it goes back to atl sports culture. The good ol boy bullshyt gets in the way of winning again.

That shyt don't matter. Worst defense in the league, you need the best defensive mind in the league. Especially when you have a good offense. fukk all these, well let's just give him a chance ass hires. Rex would fix that defense. We can't say the same for any other candidate.
You need a good HC that realizes both sides of the ball are equally important. Rex is a coordinator...he's not a guy to build around if you're looking for longterm success. Personnel will fix the defense, not Rex ra-ra'ing.
We'll see. I bet Browns fans scoffed at the Patriots when they hired Belicheck. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes at the Jets

Rex is a good coach, he's a bit arrogant and conservative (runs the ball a lot) but he always gets the most out of his players...
If yall can get a competent OC and QB in there Rex and that defense can get you 12 wins...
