1. A government and taxpayers should support its citizens. That’s the point of this system. Just because it’s been corrupted doesn’t take away from that.

2. I guarantee you Narcan and administering Narcan to junkies is more cost effective than treating OD patients in the hospital or any other medical intervention such as the ambulance as mentioned. That’s why Narcan is so effective, you give it, you likely save yourself and taxpayers more advanced medical care
