im glad nikkas finally pointing at hasletts bum ass. but yall gotta know the biggest issue with our d is we are running the wrong scheme. orakpo and kerrigan are hands in the dirt des, they should never be in coverage ever, kerrigan doesnt do a bad job in the flats. this team should be running a 43, in which haslett wanted but shanny forced him to switch. Secondly, the shanahans playcalling/design outside of read option plays are archaic, the shyt sucks. I see other teams flexing their tes out on the perimeter, running wr option routes, timing routes, etc.....we do none of this. We dont even exploit wr pick plays. Our best wr package would be a two Te set of reed and davis, with garcon, and moss...they should have more packages involving that group creating mismatches, have davis on the perimeter using his body to shield smaller corners, have moss in the slot juking the shyt out of LBs. Hell i cant even recall us runninbasic shyt like a quick slant. The most egregious thing is, rg3 has an amazing deep ball, look at his deep passes last year in the thanksgiving massacre, look at the go ahead deep pass robinson dropped. This guy only throws one of those every 3 games

I really hate it when morons who don't watch the games talk shyt. RGIII is the LEAST of the Skins problems right now. He actually looked near 100% yesterday. Had a couple of nice scrambles and threw alot of pretty passes that were on point. Including that 63 yard bomb that shoulda been a touchdown. He is making plays out there. He's on pace for 5,000 yards passing, 27 TDs/21 INTs, and 84 QB rating. Those are not the numbers of a player who is a problem.
The Skins problem is the DEFENSE. They just can't stop anyone. They're 2 major problems are they can't TACKLE and they can't stop the pass. No names are running all over them and they may have the worst defensive backfield in NFL history. When 34 year old DeAngelo Hall is still your best option back there you know you suck.
They have a chance to turn it around but its gonna require the D-Line and Linebackers to step up. They need better pass rush and need to tackle better. They are not allowing huge holes in the run game but once the back finds a crease they miss too many tackles. They're allowing short plays to turn into huge gains cause they can't tackle.
Also on offense they have to cut down on the turnovers. They had a league low in turnovers last year but now they are having picks and fumbles right and left. When your defense sucks, its on the offense to protect the ball and keep the defense off the field as long as possible. RGIII's strong point last year was the fact he didn't turn over the ball. I'm gonna chalk his recent binge of turnovers up on rust and not having the preseason. Skins have a chance to be a playoff team they just need to tackle better, cut down on the turnovers, and get early leads to control the ball and keep that horrible secondary off the field.
