Angel wasn't emotional and it wasn't a basketball play.
A push to the back of a player making that player fall to the ground isn't a basketball play which is why it was changed to a flagrant foul 1.

Angel Reese is a useful villain but we all know there is some jealousy there, right or wrong, and if the racial roles were reversed we'd be calling out that jealousy and protecting "innocent" Angel the same way cacs protect "innocent" Caitlyn.
It doesn't help that CC's reactions and responses are just so "it's basketball" so she always comes out looking like the bigger person. Reese seems to be learning that as well now; don't give these people anything to bite into.

I get that there's a large group of people who never watched sports but feel compelled to bring their stan culture behavior to this "rivalry" - those people are just stupid and frankly don't know better. They see a flagrant foul and think it's the end of the world. But the people I have disdain for are those who DO know better, including RG3 and all these other sports people on social media who gleefully churn this bullshyt. And worse yet many of them are the same (predominantly white) people who have shyt on the NBA for being soft for years. Yet they see a league that is often has more hard fouls and "athlete hitting the ground hard" moments than the NBA and their first inclination is to...accuse players of hyper violence? Do you want physical play or not.
Also just to be clear, Angel Reece is not Draymond. Draymond is a hall of fame tier basketball player. Angel Reece is not good at basketball and might not be on that team in 2-3 years. This "rivalry" is like Kwame Brown having a rivalry with Pao Gasol...it makes no fukking sense beyond them being in the same draft. The skill levels are vastly different, one player clearly works on her game while the other doesn't, etc. That shyt gotta die because there are actual skilled ballers in the WNBA (who are black) who fit much better as potential rivals.

Angel and Caitlin are pitted as rivals because each player was the star player on their respective college teams. That's it, it wasn't about skill level or position.
The same way the press leading up to the Denver Nuggets versus the OKC Thunder would list Jokic vs SGA. Two MVP candidates.
Not Jamal vs SGA even though they play the same position. Jokic vs SGA is the selling point because they're the biggest stars on their teams.
A flagrant foul between Angel and Caitlin will draw much more attention than two other players because of their history. Yes flagrant fouls happen all the time but due to their history, and stature it brings more eyes and comments on the issue.
Lastly, no Angel is not Draymond. She's more like Dennis Rodman when it comes to rebounding. Meaning she's one of the best rebounders to ever play in the WNBA.
No she's not as skilled as Caitlin, they play different positions so she's not expected to be. But your obvious dislike and attempts to discredit and disrespect Angel didn't go unnoticed.
Again, she's a great rebounder one of the best that the league has ever seen. If you saw her in Unrivaled you would've seen that she's been working on her game. She hit three 3's all last season and already hit one in the first game.
Oh and she's been working on her handle to enable her to drive tot he basket more.
And no, I'm not an Angel Stan. I like Caitlin and Angel as well as many other teams and players in the league.
