Robert Griffin III has been dealing with a lot more than trying to win the Browns starting job over the past several months.

Griffin, signed by the Browns on March 24th, has been separated from his wife, pf three years Rebecca Liddicoat for the past several months, and he’s in the process of filing for divorce, a league source told cleveland.com.

The couple got married on July 6, 2013, and had their first child in May of 2015, a girl named Reese Ann Griffin.

According to the report all his teammates and coaches know and have been very supportive.

If RG3 cuts his braids Browns might go 16-0.

Robert Griffin III's marriage is just about over ... the NFL star has separated from his wife and the two are in the process of filing for a divorce ... this according to Cleveland.com.

The Browns QB married college sweetheart Rebecca Liddicoat in 2013 and just last year she gave birth to a baby girl.

But Griffin has reportedly told his teammates and coaches that the marriage has hit a wall -- and both parties are going their separate ways.

And get this ... RG3 has already scrubbed his Instagram page of all traces of Rebecca.

RG3 is said to be having a tough time with the situation -- but he's working through it with the support of family and friends.
