y'all took that line too literal and put assumptions behind it. Kanye literally talked about "mental" slavery on Yeezus & was praised. The only blame I'll put on Kanye more recently is that he'll make a broad statement w/o clarifying what he means so it lets emotional people manipulate it so they can continue their victimhood.

Yes, there are plenty of black people that will become so fixated with racism that they won't even TRY to challenge the system to at least give them a somewhat decent life.
