Chicago state is a step up from community college bruh. It’s firmly in the hood but has a real campus and 90% black. It’s a good nursing school an ok school for everything else but It almost closed down 3 years ago because folks were fukking w the money.

My wife graduated from there and I love taken a few classes. There is zero chance his mother was making big money working there

Kanye grew up regular ass barely middle class on south shore drive, then moved to one of the border blackish suburbs 10 mins from the hood/ city limits when his mother got a promotion.
