anyone can show up at a spot and gather a few a heads to watch their show. that means they're buzzing in those cities? really?
The reality is that thanks to blogs and the internet, there is no more regionalism in hip-hop. I live in Florida and just the other day at the supermarket, the whiteboy working the cashier and the black bag boy were talking together about "I Don't Like" and singing lyrics and shyt together.
EVERYBODY on social media and blogs is listenin to ALL kinds of shyt. Keef and his affiliates are buzzing whether it's ironic hipsters or it's just people, like me, who happen to feel his music.
Keef has a decent amount of buzz in most major cities, he has a bunch of huge, huge tracks that a lot of people are fukking with.
Just because you're not fukking with it, doesn't mean a ton of other people aren't.
Sure, certain regions are gonna have certain aesthetics and certain qualities that are sonically or lyrically different, but those barriers are being knocked down
