To me rappers should always be honest to what they see and report about what's going on. Keef talks about the life that he/his peers live or live around. He brings certain feelings out of people and he makes me enjoy my day when life has me down. fukk positivity in music, I want to be entertained and have some kind of emotions be brought out when I listen to music. Not just be preached to about Rhymefest's own biases. If I really wanted to learn about the prison system and urban violence, I'd read books about it and ask the OGs in my hood. Not listen to Rhymefest's :flabbynsick: ass

it's called ENTERTAINMENT. anybody that is stupid enough to actually let entertainment direct their life is crazy. we all know that unfortunately some of the music that is out is based off of reality but people have to be aware of that. in other words, you can't be running around following music lyrics such as "smacking around people up" because there's consequences behind that. you have to use your head. as for the kids that listen to this music that may not understand and be misguided, it's up to the parents to teach them the reality of following the lyrics. it goes back to the parents not parenting their kids right or a community not raising a child. nowadays, people don't want to teach the kids anymore. they leave the kids to roam free and are even treating them like adults where they grow up f*cked up. you cannot blame the music for people making bad choices. it seems like nobody wants to take responsibility anymore for their kids. it's like back when you had all these group full of concerned parents that were blaming the music industry, the television stations and the whole nine basically telling them that they had to tone down their content basically admitting that they had no control over their kids and basically dishing their parential responsibilities onto tv, music execs.

honestly, i think rhymefest is jealous that some 16 year old is getting more love from the industry and rap listeners than what he ever received as long as he's been in the rap shyt. then again, that "brand new" record wasn't anything worth checking out or catchy at all.

him including his name in the list makes him seem bitter but it was a good read

he should have never listed alternatives listening.

as most of the artist on his list.

could be pointed out as not having commentary, that was deemed in th proper light.

nor have they provided duality and consistent, visible day to day commentary.

but, heres the problem.. he didnt..

and, hes not showing any "balls".. like Keon already noted, where was all this conspiracy talk been since his day..? there were artists way bigger than chief keef, who were around in, and before his prime.. he had nothing to say then..

for him to just wake up one day, and think, ":gladbron: im gonna stand up for rap, in the form of Cheif Keef being part of a system to ultimately promote violence and putting people in prison..!!" is ridiculous..

that's true,....

as fest has not been visionary.

he just had a major label deal.

then done what other underground rappers in history have done.

which is run for a public office.

i am not trying to shyt on his ideal or message.

yet he is polarizing as he has not been consistently visible.

plus his stance could be viewed as a political move of gamesmanship.

for running for upcoming office,...then use said artist in the performance realm in the ward for visibility.

which is all for political gain and not one of genuine care.

which is all hypocritical and one reason why it is difficult for fans and people to get behind your stance.

as it is not indicative of good faith.

the move is really a politician from boondock's ploy to aid a campaign, for office.

which will not be viewed in good faith and viewed as a hypocritical revenue and political power grab.

which is viewed as disengenuine, misleading, and a ploy of gamesmanship.

using media and capital wrongly for political gain.

which is just as poisonous as the prison industrial complex on the stock market.

I feel like if Chief Keef wants to make music, cool. If Rhymefest or whoever wants to speak on it, cool. Whether or not he's right or has an ulterior motive is open to opinion.

One thing though....people keep saying 'fest did this for attention or some kinda career boost....he's been involved with bigger songs than Keef, and had a longer career. Keef barely has a career, he just started. I don't think anybody in their right mind would diss a rapper on Keef's level for some kinda attention.

Fred.

well if you were in the ward,.....

you would know that this could be misconstrued as an act of political gamesmanship.

not to mention him using the artist he listed.

which will be used as political free shows and appearances to help his campaign.

in this situation, i know both fest and willie cochran.

willie is my father's card playing partner.

whom, really offered the least of aid to me.

plus, did not offer me any real actual gainful career employment.

except doing the least. which is simple democrat meets republican.

do as little as possible to appease the spreadsheet political gamesmanship.

while i also have not been contacted by fest,..but when i am in venues.

which he partakes in like fireside bowl, years ago.

fest would see i was there and not even say whad'up.

yet because i was in the venue and ju's former hypeman.
he would go on stage and diss juice,..when juice is not there.

just so he knows his words travel further than just one baseless night.

from an impromptu mic grab to challenge for a title.

fest has never been successful in acquiring like alderman of this ward.

yet, i have never seen him extend a hand or paycheck to someone like me.

like his artist mentioned in his pr release.

when i give daily commenatry of duality, and reality for close to twenty years.

while also living in his ward.

in the most horrific and harsh third world conditions.

a man of my professional background has been forced to live in.

who could be a polarizing voice for his political ideas of grandeur.

fest's behavior can and will be viewed as political gamesmanship in nature.

plus doing the least possible spreadsheet wise like some republican turned democrat.

just like willie coochran does the least.
when both don't do anything to help anyone proactively...
or alternatively, when pitched in a cold call environment.

or on their own merit and ability.

to research and aid people they know from their own liasions.

neither cochran or fest have anyone in this ward's best interest at heart.

they are both seeking a paycheck and the office is just a visible occupation.

neither are really here to help.

as, i am definately a living breathing example in the know.

who is living their inability to really help or change the community.

both are frauds and i know from personal and grassroots experience.

art barr

willie is bogus.

as, is fest.

i stand as an exact example of their lack of real care.

to provide anyone in the community any real aid.

so personally both are full of shyt and not really here to help.
just like my neighbors the jacksons are political pro black frauds.

they are all white politicians in black face.
no different than,..george bush.

just from a different political party and fake caste system called race.

Chief Keep is not even nice. He'd get a pass if he was nice on the mic at least.

fest is just attacking him because he is running for office.

fest is more than likely.

not even aware keef is probably, and exactly from the ward.

where fest has political aspirations and is running for office.

don't be fooled by fake politicians.

they are con artist with government positions.

i lived next door to the jackson's and willie cochran is my dad's card playing buddy.

fest is just a rap politician.

looking to hold titles in rhyme and politics.

he never earned and will never gain.

they are all phoney as fukk,...politicians are not on shyt.

as i know both even when asked for help.

will do the least to help their own neighbor.

or their card playing partners son who sought them out proactively for help.

i have visited both jackson and cochran's office, professionally.

while being ignored, as a neighbor.

so i know from true actualized reality,..they are just like the boondock's episode on black politicians.

where fest falls into the same bin of falsehood.

as those i just previously named.

willie cochran, jackson's and rhymefest are purposefully ignorant.

to the plight of their respective neighborhoods.

they are not here to help,..they are here to get a paycheck,..simple as that.

nothing more, nothing less,......

they are the least genuine like any and every politician.

that ever walked across the stage and addressed the podium.

art barr

excuse the typo's,..and any grammatical errors.

yet when you are suffering from a system gon awry.

in every way possible,..that has allowed you to be blackballed.

plus unable to achieve so called justice.

for wrongs done to you.

eliminating your economical and capital viability to survive.

you will make errors when forced to only communicate from a touchscreen phone.

You can listen to Keef, King Louie, Sasha Go Hard, all these Chicago "Drill Hop" rappers and comprehend how there can be 30+ shootings in one weekend within a 10 block area.... My problem is that we need to raise the critical thinking and intelligence level of the disenfranchised youth of Chicago's southside before worrying about "The Music" that is developed out of that community and then displayed back to them... The music is essentially a mirror for them to look at themselves in... You can't change the mirror from the glass... You need to change the object that is the source of the reflection... Because lets be real, If you don't raise the intelligence level and education of these individuals and remove the sociopathic behavior from their minds, Im sure they will find some other way to fukk their lives up even if the music didn't exist...

I mean LA gangs existed in the 70's and early 80's and nikkas was poplocking to electro dance music and funk and all that shyt before the late 80's wave of gangster rap... Doesn't fukking matter what the music content is.... Gangster rap just gave them a mirror to look at themselves and something to relate to...

Yeah
I don't have a problem with chief.

I have a problem with radio djs and bias bloggers who shove the same 5-10 artist down the people's throat 24/7.

We need more variety that's all and more opportunities for up n coming cats with different sounds to have a chance.

Chief doesn't bother me but I already feel like we have a waka flocka we don't need another one.

The industry loves to ride the wave of whatever's hot and so do its fans.
