this happens to me with so, so many rhymes. i'll think of them wrong in my head for literally years, and then one day i'll realize the real rhyme for no reason.

one recent one was:

hood phenomenon
the lebron of rhyme

i had thought it was "lebron-a-rom" and that that was somehow a thing.

This is not about unnoticed rhymes for me but more about misunderstood rhymes.

In Cam's song Killa Cam he says "who am I to f*ck tradition up" but for years I thought he was saying "Who am I, the f*ck traditioner" I was like that don't really make sense till I found out what he was actually saying.

Or for example in California Love for years and years I thought the chorus was saying "California, no time to party" instead of "California, knows how to party".

I'm sure there are a lot of unnoticed rhymes by me out there but I can't think of any right now.

How about my slow self not getting "You let the fish - burn" when the Jiggaman first said it. And, the red and blue pill should had made guess the Matrix reference too.
