:mjlol:THE DIRT THAT CAN SO EASILY BE DUG UP ON ANY OF THOSE ECW GUYS, BROTHER!
I doubt his opposition will even consider that, not much is spent on campaigning for these seats.
Rhyno got less dough than Linda and he still got a better shot at getting elected into office.:mjlol:
I hate Linda too, but she can snag a State Rep seat easily, bruh. She was goin for a much bigger title, apples to oranges. Linda went after WHC, Rhyno's competing for ROH TV title.

I remember when Jim Janos started in the early 90s, I thought it was cute that he'd run for local office. Then he went big in 1998. Backlund also was a pol.

Big ups to all wrestler politicians, let's see Rhyno go all the way someday. I myself tried to run in 2007 until my campaign manager backstabbed me :francis:

Former WWE, ECW, and TNA wrestler Rhyno announced this week that he has filed to run as a State Representative for his district in Dearborn, Michigan. Rhyno recently spoke to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports about his campaign, and revealed Vince McMahon's reaction to the news.

“I told Vince, ‘I hope I make you proud.’ He said, ‘You already have.’ He then followed up by saying if there was anything (WWE) can do to help to let them know," Rhyno told FOX Sports. "He didn’t ask what party I was running for or this and that. The McMahons’ love for their country is just contagious.”

Rhyno indicated that he does not think his past as a pro wrestler will hurt his career in politics.

“I don’t think it will hurt me at all. I think candidates that run against me will try to make fun of it to discredit me so they can win the election, which is understandable. But I want to go out and discuss how we can make this state better, how we can make people’s lives easier and educate the kids.”

Rhyno last appeared on WWE TV at their TLC pay-per-view in December.

WWE professional wrestler Rhyno wins 15th District Michigan State House Republican primary race

They say politics can be a rough sport. If that's the case, the winner of Tuesday's Republican Primary in the 15th District State House race may be uniquely qualified for the battle he'll have in November. Terrance "Rhyno" Gerin is a WWE wrestler.

The WWE Superstar took down two Republican opponents in the primary, winning by only 54 votes as of 11:30 p.m. Though he had the highest vote total, he had yet to be officially named the Republican Primary winner.

As the winner of the Republican Primary, he would now face Abdullah Hammoud, the winner of the 15th District Democratic Primary, in November's General Election.

Rhyno, as he's known to wrestling fans, is running to represent part of Dearborn in the Michigan State House. He chose to run for office under his real name, Terrance Guido Gerin.

After initially announcing he would enter the race, Gerin spoke to WWE.com and explained his decision. "I’ve followed politics for decades," he said. "It’s something I’ve always had a passion for. I love my country, I love my state of Michigan and I love the city I live in. It’s something I’ve thought about doing for a while."

The winner of November's General Election race in the 15th District will replace George Darany, a Democrat who was prevented from running again due to a three-term limit.
