It's fun to go to the record store though. Also depending on what you're looking for, there's vinyl out there that can't ever be found on mp3s. But mp3s are convenient.

All I'm saying is if you're on tour in a foreign country and you go to a record shop in Japan or Russia or somewhere, you're going to have access to a ton of sounds and records that are going to be hard to find on mp3. Forget that part of it. There's a culture around crate digging that's just fun. Khrysis is the type of guy that would go record shopping just because he enjoys that process. Don't get it twisted, he can make beats without samples also. But crate digging will always be a part of beat making culture.
