i'm not a producer so i honestly dont care how a beat is made. it can be sampling little kids walking down the street for all i care

but producers i know are adamantly against sampling off of mp3's unless the record is impossible to find or costs an outrageous amount of money. they look at mp3 producers as hacks because you can essentially have any sound in front of you in a matter of seconds...its a double edged sword. i just like good music :manny:

Making music shouldn't be difficult. Those people are obviously old and set in their ways. The way a sample is manipulated and altered if you eq your shyt right no one but a nit picking fakkit will know the difference.

I will never run out of hot samples while cats struggling to squeeze water out of a rock with some of them weak records they paid money for

There are millions of techniques available to you one that file is loaded into the software.

You are limited with vinyl because of how hit or miss finding good samples in purchased records are. Get you a nice pool of mp3s and wow magic happens

I was gonna try to give you a Jamla breakdown, but if you like the A.L.L.I.E.S. definitely check out Big Remo first, because he was actually one half of the Allies duo. The other guy that was in the A.L.L.I.E.S. his name was Novej and he got into doing gospel rap but is back on the scene now and was on Big Pooh's last album. Thyrday and Allies were actually never officially in the Justus League but were affiliated. J Gunn from Thyrday is working with Dame Dash now and hopefully will do well. Median is signed to Phonte's Foreign Exchnage label and dropped a hell of a sleeper in 2011 called The Sender
