You could present Rick Rude EXACTLY how he was in the late 80's right now with no revisions and drop him in any current organization. .. he'd be one of if not the hottest heel in your company

in 2016. That says something.

The Freebird Von Erich feud has stood the test of time and is still very much watchable but the Freebird gimmick and presentation would not work outside of the early 80's and in the southern territories IMO.



Who am I to argue with Flair but if Rude was dangerous I'm surprised he's the first person to mention it considering the folks he worked with from 88-1994, someone woulda brought it up in a shoot. Rude may just have been real snug with Ric because he didn't like him who knows

The Freebirds were dated as fukk by 1986. Then when they became the Fabulous Freebirds with just Hayes and Jimmy Jam, shyt was already years out of date before the gimmick started. And it lasted into 1994. As 80s glam rockers.
