Do y’all realize KD was never on a bad Defense in OKC, he was a good defender there but on GS he’s able to ramp his effort up because he and one other teammate aren’t creating a the shots.

Look at how Paul George has taken a slight step back on Defense, with his increased creation role on offense.

Who else is gonna do playmaking on that team?

Y'all act like this Cavs team has other ball handlers ...he has to handle the rock because there isn't anyone else that can make there own shot.

I swear you nikkas get retarded when it comes to discussing Bron

I mean they did have rose, wade and it. All 3 looked like great playmakers again once they got away from bron

except he was this exact same defender during his last year in OKC, and it was spotlighted during their playoff run.

the notion that the "system" is what made him this defender is false and more LeStan garbage rhetoric.

Yeah it was probably worded in a way that gave GSW more credit than Durant, I can agree to that. The fact remains that because there are so many scorers on GSW and they have such a great team defensive philosophy that putting him in situations to maximize his defensive effectiveness is more "strategy" on GSW where it was more "instinctive" on his part in OKC. GSW didn't teach Durant to have long arms and good instincts, so bottom line is it's still more him than anything. 2 sides of the same coin :manny:
