I think with how heinous the allegations are, if Paul Mooney was innocent, Richard Jr. would have been quick to clear his name. Because Richard Jr. neither explicitly confirmed or denied that Paul was the perpetrator, and left it in the air, for the allegations to continue to fester over Paul, then that was his confirmation that he did it.

If something happened to me, and people were claiming that the perpetrator was someone that had nothing to do with the situation, and I was asked about the situation, I would QUICKLY make it known, that such and such had nothing to do with it, so that they would not continue to be slandered by the allegations.
