The right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way
You only ever read these crazy sounding charges when it's black folks involved. Remember when Joey Porter got arrested for being drunk and stupid like 90% of cacs when they have a few too many to drink
? They charged him for aggravated assault, simple assault, public drunkenness and terroristic threats.

It's tough for guys to transition out of pro sports.

This.
I'm 37, never had a concussion, and I'll tell you right now--I don't believe in CTE.
Some coli breh gonna hit me with the :mjlol:, and I get it--I'm just saying this:
You hit a stage in your 30s where you wake up one morning and you're like
:ohhh: I'm mortal brehs.
There's no going backwards.
There's no getting younger.
The celebrities you grew up listening to/watching? They're even older. And the kids don't like em or care who they are.
You start looking at shyt and being like
"oh, damn, that was how many years ago? feels like yesterday though."
When you're 25, you think--10 years ago, I was 15, I was a totally different person.
When you're 35, you think--10 years ago, I was 25, and I was grown up, so all that's changed in 10 years is just me getting older: slower, tighter, sorer, you name it.
shyt's fukking wild.
My job though? It has nothing to do with my age. Matter of fact--it gets better as I get older. More money, easier, more pension. It's like a stock that just points up. :takedat:
Some of, shyt probably all of you youngsters, are gonna read this and not understand it, but you will some day.
And old heads will read it and be like, talk to me when you hit 50.
But the point is--pro athletes get all this shyt x100.
They get older and slower just like me and you, but they do it on national tv with people saying they "lost a step."
Their job doesn't keep getting better, it straight up fires them.
Celebs they grew up liking and admiring? THEY ARE THAT CELEB, in their mind. Now all of a sudden, the world doesn't really care about THEM like that anymore.
It's just the natural aging process, played out in front of the entire country.
So yeah, that CTE shyt? I don't believe it. These guys drink and go crazy just the same as someone sitting at the bar in some hole in the wall joint reliving his glory days every night.
It's not cause they got tackled when they were 21, it's cause they can't get paid to tackle anymore at 35.

You sure talk with a lot of authority like you saw this in real-time in the so-called situation.

Also, I swore it was innocent until proven otherwise. Did that change from yesterday?
That’s a court standard, it’s not a societal standard :russ:
Dead ass burglary is mandatory PBL in fla...mind u he shot the nikka after he entered but that aggravated battery woulda got him like 15, the burglary PBL
Aggravated felonies underlying a burglary generally increase the punishment

CTE is a condition :russ:
It’s not about belief, it’s a literal change in the structure of the brain due to repeated trauma.

I’m sure personal realizations can certainly exacerbate things, but this is a physical change to the body we’re talking about - you can’t not “believe” in it.

Let me rephrase that shyt.
I'm not sure that the degenerative qualities shown in brain tissues examined in former players is directly correlated with successive concussions endured in their youth, or that said degenerative tissue is responsible for the suite of behavioral changes attributed to chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Correlation =/= causation.

You can always tell when someone has double digit IQ when they say "it's science."
Only science that matters in your life is your white blood cell count to dose your AIDS meds--now stop thinking you got a cute mouth cause your man tells you you do.
Also--google this shyt:
"Simply put, yes, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and violence correlate to one another, but doctors cannot determine if one causes the other. "
So turns out the "science" is on my side.

I hope Sherman makes it back from this on a personal level as we ALL should know that this ends any slim chance he may have had of getting signed. But if he didn't hit the female i hope he can bounce back from this years later with the classic redemption story especially since it's probably mentally health related. If not they will hold it over his head FOREVER and will keep him from getting into the Hall years down the line. This is a sad end for his CAREER considering he just played this year.
