They already tried to trade Lane last year and he failed his physical. He wasn't good enough to start and wasn't worth the money they were paying him.

Bennett contrary to popular belief wasn't an issue in the locker room. He is about to be 33 and coming off an average year that was riddled with injuries.

Sherm. He didn't have any locker room issues last year. The year before he did. He's just 30 years old coming off a 2 ankle surgeries and is owed a lot of money. Sadly I don't want to see Sherm go, but the Seahawks are so cap tied unless he wants to come back and take less I don't see it happening.

Looks like freeing up Sherm is going to help the Seahawks try and keep Earl.
