It seems like just yesterday he was the best corner in the league and now? Damn NFL, actually sports in general are cold as shyt

Only side expected to remain loyal is the players, as the teams get to shyt on and do whatever the hell they want :scust:

NFL is a brutal and violent sport. 90% of the players on rosters are < 29 years old. The ones that are on the wrong side of 30 are mostly QBs and specialists(there are notable exceptions like Julius Peppers, Larry Fitzgerald, etc)

If you play a skill position, chances are you get one big contract and are done by 30

Even if he doesn't return to be a great CB like before, he's a guy who could play well as a safety Imo

I think he'll make a pretty decent safety for a few years...

If any of you want to know what's going on follow Gee Scott KIRO FM (@TheGeeScott) on Twitter

He's friends with all the players and usually is the first to announce anything.

As for them "cleaning up their locker room" The Seahawks are cap tied with some of the contracts they have, especially on defense. There was always going to be players cut/traded this offseason. Jimmy is all but gone. Bennett was always going to leave.

Sherm is a little confusing to see go, but I assume it's his (contract, age, coming off a major injury) that are leading the Seahawks to think about trading him. Shaq Griffin also stepped in for Sherm and did a great job.

Also Earl wants big money and they probably have to free up some big contracts if they plan on keeping Earl.

But if you really want to think it's all about :mjpls: go head and throw all logic out the window.
