restaurants are awful tough. a place like panera makes a mint, but a lot of these chains are tough to franchise and run. a friend had a sonic, always talked about how much of a nightmare it was. youd be surprised at how razor thin the margins are at a lot of food franchises. sherman obviously isnt handling any of the day to day operations or the wingstop. if you opened one yourself, that would immediately become your full time job, with hours much longer than 40 per week to run it correctly. and you probably dont have the capital to open one. you need low to mid six figs minimum, a lot of it liquid

I've seen this month's ago. Trust me.. I have it.. just wanted to see if I can make a extra 70k a year while not being there.. I wouldn't actually work there. I'd pay someone else to do it.. I make too much money now to do that..
if you already have 400k net worth, and an extra milli laying around just to get a franchise up and running, then why would you even bother if you are just going to pay others to run it?

a) those people are legit millionaires several times over
b) im quite skeptical someone sitting around wondering about getting into franchising a single restaurant and doesnt already know the ins and outs of said business model has a net worth of mid six figures liquid

whatever profit is left after operational costs/taxes/interest youre going to be paying to people you put in charge of the day to day operations, since you said youre not doing that at all. knowledgeable people to do that arent cheap. i know a family who have a ton of burger kings, damn near every one of em in the las vegas area. they had to branch out to t-mobile stores and panera breads because the burger kings were barely breaking even anymore. youd be assuming all the risk for minimal short team profits, and will take many years to earn back your initial investment. so ill ask again, why would you even bother with the trouble of getting a single store up off the ground if you already have 500k in assets, and 200k liquid?

I didn't know Wing Stop has been around that long, I know Rick Ross owns a lot of them.

But....there isn't a black owned wings place that, with the right investment, can be turned into a franchise too?

You seen what happened to Ghost when he tried to franchise the club...:youngsabo: You how them Hebrew nikkas get when we try and own our own  I know Jamal Mashburn own a couple dealerships tho:obama:
