QBs being right handed means they throw to the right side more so than the left side. They don't throw to Sherman's side at all. He basically forces the QB to throw across his body. That's what makes him, and the Seahawks defense as a whole, great.

Sherman was talking about Left Tackles and Right Tackles switching places due to a good Defensive end.........Right Hand QB's care about LEFT TACKLES!!!! They can't see that side bruh

They also can't see their left WR either. :francis: You put your best DE where it's hardest to see him and you put your best CB where the QB has to look at him. Brilliant defense :blessed:

Can't wait to see Quinn execute it down here next season :wow:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
funny thing is he admitted he can't do it

he said we're number 1... WHY WOULD WE DO THAT AND GET WORSE

so if you follow the number 1 receiver, you'd be worse off for that?? that pretty much wraps up that argument for me... cause i'm sure deion or revis or any other db would have said "put me on the number 1 receiver and we'll be BETTER cause i'll take him out the game"

Deion rarely covered the best WR..he stayed on one side too,,he wasnt like Revis who shadowed the top WR all game.

“First of all, I know this position. When you look up, ‘cornerback,’ you see me. There’s a picture of me. When I start talking about cornerbacks, there’s Darrelle Revis; Champ Bailey; (Antonio) Cromartie from the Jets; Joe Haden; and, of course, Patrick Peterson. They play both sides. They play every receiver.

“But with Sherman, I said, ‘Let me take a look at this guy who is only playing left corner and making all this noise. And what I found out was, he’s not as athletic as Patrick Peterson; he’s not quick and doesn’t come out of breaks like Champ Bailey. But the guy is smart. He studies his butt off. And the reason I know that is the anticipation I saw him make on a couple of plays comes from studying, not from skill. But he’s got a tremendous amount of skill as well.”

that's a quote from deion.. so besides being a 49ers fan, and watching him literally cover the best wr ever every game... and do the same with irvin when he was on my squad... you think he's also a hypocrite? pointing out sherman not moving around while knowing damn well he didn't move around either? :patrice:

no... if they was playing some scrub wr, he'd stay to a side... if there was a swr worth covering that needed to be taken out, deion was on them all game

When son played with Atlanta, he played one side....its plenty games where Irvin and Rice were being checked by Tim McGyer, not Deion..

I think he used to cover the best recivers while on the Falcons and Niners. When he got to the Dallas he stayed on one side. Memory is a bit blurry though

Nah, in Atlanta he stayed on one side..many games Rice and Irvin went off and Deion wasnt checking them..why not?? Jerry Rice had five tds vs the Falcons,.so either Deion was checking him and getting lit or he shied away and let everyone else get lit up...Revis may not hold the ball up or do fancy dances, he may not return punts and ints to the house, but he is a better cover corner than Deion Sanders.

i fukkz with sherm

but he is wrong on this
great defensive players have always been able to either line up/move around or play different positions

ronnie lott played corner/free & strong safety
prime cover'd on both sides & the slot
reggie white line up over the center, guard, tackle
and the GOAT -LT was all over the feild

Agreed, prime played in an era where he was allowed to mug receivers. Reevis is playing era where you can't breath on a receiver. Prime in Baltimore was Pi/illegal contact machine.
