Richie Incognito finds himself at the center of the Dolphins' and the NFL's investigation of the bullying complaints of Jonathan Martin, who left the team last week. Incognito has been suspended indefinitely, and the latest report is that Incognito left Martin texts and voicemails "that are both threatening and racially charged in nature."

Even Dolphins fans seem somewhat fed up with Incognito, who can't seem to avoid trouble off the field and is one of the league's dirtiest players on it. But on a popular Dolphins message board, Incognito has at least one strident defender—and it might be his dad.

Early this morning, a poster with the username "idrd1994" left an impassioned defense of Incognito on the FinHeaven message board. In it, he attacked both Martin and Mike Pouncey as "black brothers that do drugs on a regular basis," and asked readers to "pray [GM Jeff] Ireland and [coach Joe] Philbin die of AIDS." He blasts the team from top to bottom, claims Incognito is getting railroaded, and uses the "black people say the N-word in rap music" argument to dismiss claims that Incognito sent racial messages to Martin. He also implies that Martin has pondered suicide, and "does not belong in an NFL locker room."

The post has since been deleted, but here's a screengrab; click the magnifying glass to enlarge.

User "TheWalrus" decided to go back and look at idrd1994's post history, and found something interesting. idrd1994 "only talks about the offensive line, praises Jeff Darlington (who Richie 'trusted' to write the big feature on Richie) and constantly refers to Jason Smith, the legendary #2 overall draft pick bust of the Rams, who was taken when Incognito was there."

Then, more sleuthwork. TheWalrus found another post of idrd1994's where he talks about growing up in New Jersey and watching the Jets play at Shea Stadium. Richie Incognito was born in New Jersey, but after the Jets had already moved. Not too young to have seen the Jets play in Queens? Richie Incognito Sr., an active poster (under a different name) on Nebraska message boards when Richie Jr. played for the Huskers.

A Google search for "idrd1994" turns up a number of posts on RC car message boards, from a user claiming to live in Arizona—where the Incognitos moved when Richie Jr. was 11. "idrd1994" is also a profile on MyLife.com, registered under one Richie Incognito, age 63, from Glendale, Ariz.

Update: Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald spoke to the FinHeaven board administrator. idrd1994 registered with a date of birth of 12/14/1949, which matches Richie Incognito Sr.'s birthday.

So Incognito left messages about nutting in buddys mouth. It's 1 thing too bully him out of his money, but If Incognito was punking him outta his ass then they both need to be shot. That's probably why the nikka gave him the 15k without a fight, he was probably happy to give him that bread to keep him off his ass for a week.

But the media REALLY wants to run with the racist bully vs. guy with mental health issues who was the poor victim angle, so I'm sure they're going to be pushing it hard. I guarantee most dudes in the NFL are siding with Incognito here, knowing shyt like this happens in the locker room all the time. Just gotta put your foot down, defend your manhood, and keep it movin. Even back in high school ball, the o-linemen were fukkin clowns and would talk shyt and do dumb shyt like this. To be honest, the coaches didn't even want to here about it. They would tell you to man up and handle it like a man. If you even approached them about it, you'd probably get made fun of. That same culture or ideology is obviously even more prevalent on the NFL level, i'm sure.

It's funny to me, 99% of the time, dudes on here are on some overly masculine, "that would never happen to me, I'm a thug and I would've punched that dude" shyt, but in this specific instance, they're empathizing with a dude's feelings and emotional well being.

How the fukk can there be a mandatory $15,000 trip?

It's not mandatory, but all of the o-linemen agree to the trip before every season for bonding purposes. They "fine" each other throughout the year and throw the money into the Vegas pot. It's planned months in advance. So at the end of the season, Incognito probably went up to the Martin before the trip and said "you owe $15k for the Vegas pot (which presumably, Martin agreed to do before the season) and Martin paid his portion, but didn't want to go. How is that mandatory, or even worse, extortion?

This guy?

Not to pre-judge anyone but he definitely looks like someone who would get along famously with Richie. He might just be sticking up for a buddy who's getting that work by the media right now.

Agreed, but it's not only him. Most people that are involved with the NFL and know what goes on behind closed doors that are speaking out are taking the politically incorrect route and saying Martin is being too sensitive, which is obviously surprising. Just find it interesting considering they're going against the grain here.

I'm not the one saying it was mandatory, it was in one of the tweets someone posted that's why I was asking. That shyt would have made no sense if it was mandatory.

That team bonding stuff is just bullshyt. Them nikkas just wanted to go to vegas under the guise of it being a team building process. We don't know if Martin had agreed to it and it's not fair to expect every player to agree to it considering some of these NFL players are legit evangelical christian types who aint down with liquor, gambling, and hoes (not saying Martin is one of those types but they do exist.)

nah, he wished him a Happy Birthday on Twitter so that he could keep extorting him. And Martin said thanks publicly because he was scared to get bullied and wanted to keep Incognito close. GTFOH, this shyt ain't adding up, man. It's not normal behavior.
