Slavery was viewed as a god given right by racist scum in this country for hundreds of years... until sweeping changes were made. Public lynchings of black men were perfectly acceptable... until sweeping changes were made. For years there wasn't any public outcry about the dangers of smoking. Hell, smoking on planes was allowed into the 90s. Football and hockey were played without helmets. The point that you 'back in the day' 'traditional' morons can't seem to grasp is that people and circumstances change. We learn new things. We make changes to old things as a result. And at the end of the day there is no good reason for shyt like this to be excused. I'm glad this is blowing up and I hope it does indeed lead to a change in this juvenile, wanna be frat, pseudo-militaristic and borderline gay culture of 'hazing' in football and sports in general. The shyt serves no purpose other than to get some laughs or a few free meals off intimidating people who are supposed to be your teammates. But again, I'm not surprised by the reaction here because most of the people and conversations that go on the Coli are incredibly immature, ignant and just completely fukkin stupid.
