Always said there's more to this story that we don't know because things aren't adding up. Starting to see what's happening here and everyone's motives are becoming a little bit more clear...
Just my personal guess, but at this point, what I think happened is the following...
What Incognito's dad said is true and Martin is a headcase who has mental problems and uses drugs.
Martin has a breakdown in the Dolphins cafeteria last week after a stupid prank. A prank that he was involved with when it was done to another player just a week earlier.
Martin goes to rehab/get some kind of help for his issues, that are more do to his mental sickness and just not being fit for the NFL than anything actually done in the locker room (remember, he sent Incognito a text just last week saying he wasn't blaming any of the players for his breakdown, it was "just the culture of fooball").
Dolphins are made aware of this and talk to Martin about possibly putting him on the "Non Football Injury List"
Martin, knowing that his pay for the rest of the season isn't guaranteed if he's placed on the NFI list, comes up with this "unsafe work environment" story to ensure he gets paid for the rest of the season and possibly a settlement beyond that. Which is probably his parents' idea, considering they're attorneys.
Incognito, the @sshole class clown is accused of bullying and that voicemail he jokingly sent Martin is used as evidence to back such claims.
Just my opinion as of right now, considering what's unfolded. Don't expect anyone to agree at all, but this makes more sense than the story the media is giving us. The two things that has me most skeptical is the fact that Martin sent Incognito a text last week saying he didn't blame teammates, and then suddenly changes his tune; and also, Incognito was vehemently claiming his innocence on Twitter. Why would he do that if he knew he was actually bullying Martin and there was evidence to support those claims?
Incognito deserves whatever comes his way for leaving that dumb voicemail and putting himself in this position in the first place, but I don't think he's a racist, I think he just used poor judgment. Again, my own personal opinion. And also the opinion of all of his teammates and past teammates.
There hasn't been a single person yet that's said this dude is actually a racist bully. Not one. And every single player/ex-player asked has stood up for him. I find that interesting. But let the Coli tell it, and they're all just "c00ns" covering up for a racist guy that they have no allegiance to anymore, and there's no benefit in doing so.
