BUT WHAT IS MARTIN'S BEEF? Someone show me some evidence of him getting bullied. Everything we've heard so far states that Martin was the one going around the locker room playing the voicemail and laughing about it. And him and Incognito were always hanging out even after the voicemail. So until someone shows me evidence of anything at all that shows he actually has legs to stand on here, I have to objectively call a spade a spade and say he's being a bytch and doing this for other reasons.

They were best friends though. They just met maybe 2 fukkin years ago. They dont KNOW each other like that, or else Incognito would have seen this comin a mile away. He had no idea Martin had it in him to go this route.

Just asking is that racial quicksand one way? I'm asking because I highly doubt this thread is this long if the story was backwards and the offending word was cracker. I don't think we would see more than people saying boy is stupid and how cracker isn't the same as nikka (which I agree). Even though they aren't most on the other side not trying to hear that just like most people don't want to hear what they deem to be hypocrisy esp if its going against them.

Edit: I thought part of being a "man" was being a protector esp of yourself? Often times when a dude don't talk to girls most here would say dude isn't being a man cause we are "hunters" another "man" characteristic. Now in this case its okay not to be a stereotypical "man" and run forest run. That shyt is confusing when people go back and forth on what's what all the time.

Black unemployment was about 8 or 9% off memory without looking it up during the Clinton years, not 4%. And the economic growth of the 90's wasn't because of Clinton, it was because of the tech boom and Greenspan's Fed policy of artificially low interest rates and cheap money. Clinton was competent as an executive for the most part, but he was just another neoliberal center-right politician and he definitely was not some champion of black peoples' economic freedom and upward mobility. I could go more in depth, but let's not turn this to HL.

That type of culture is why I can't see an openly gay player come out anytime soon unless he's like a Calvin Johnson type of impact player.

We don't know the full story yet though. Martin is smart and so are his parents. If he's really moving forward with a lawsuit, I think it's a safe bet that he's going to bring a lot more accusations and evidence than what we've seen so far. The players seem like they're in bunker mentality because it's a bad reflection on the whole team to outsiders.

Whatever happened, probably happens in a bunch of locker rooms. The disconnect between an NFL locker room and the average workplace, and how the laws governing workplace conduct apply here makes this a compelling story. Should be interesting to see how it all plays out.
