This whole situation is all fukked up, but now ESPN is sayin' the coaches reported that Martin now punched Incog"dumbass"" in his mouth, so what the fukk is it, did he bytch up like everybody has been saying or did he sack up and put them paws on him and the rest of the team ain't like it and turned the other cheek when Incog"dumbass" decided to turn it up to a whole 'nother level.

All this shyt is sounding like the Dolphins are in damage control.

And with everybody callin' Martin a p*ssy ass bytch and shyt. Wouldn't it take a stronger person to not succumb to Incog"dumbass"'s bullshyt and keep it moving. The whole paying for shyt, yeah that's some sucka shyt. That he should of stopped from jumpstreet.

And everybody talking about how he needed to put them paws on Ritchie, if everybody has been labeling Martin as some mentally weak dude who snapped and stormed off from the facilities, what if dude would of snapped and beat Ritchie's ass unconscious or some shyt, how would the media and team would have reported it, that some thug of a player beat his teammate senseless cuz he couldn't handle Ritchie's motivational tatics and then he'd have the wrath of the commish coming down on him and the media all in his ass.

The thread should have ended on this note.

I'm gonna keep it funky, I feel like more people on here would have sided with Martin if he was straight black instead of biracial.

You got this from that Martha piece on CNN's I, the same guy who has been friends with Richie for over ten years

:camby:

you guys are intertwining too much shyt and it's making it hard to keep up with what exactly is being debated or talked about lol

Is Incognito in the wrong for using a racial slur with Martin? ABSOLUTELY. Haven't seen a single person say otherwise. He deserves whatever punishment comes his way. Did Martin "allow" him to use the word? From the looks of it, yes. But that's irrelevant. Like I said yesterday, when you have a controversial "inside joke", and that joke gets out into the public, you're liable for whatever scrutiny and backlash comes your way. Gotta be smarter than that.

So saying Martin is more in the wrong in this situation doesn't automatically mean anyone is giving Incognito a pass.

A few things are pretty clear here:

- Martin's best friend on the entire team as of a week ago was Richie Incognito. They went everywhere together, sat next to each other on team flights, Incognito came to his defense when he got into it with Dion Jordan, etc.

- Martin wasn't offended by Incognito using that racial slur in the voicemail. Teammates have said he routinely used it in a joking manner with Martin and Martin just laughed and never had an issue with it. Add to that, Martin was the one going around letting everyone listen to the drunk voicemail and laughing about it with everyone.

- There is no evidence that Martin was ever bullied by anyone.

- The $15,000 for the Vegas trip was not an extortion. Martin agreed to the trip in advance, as it's a yearly thing with all the linemen. The trip is paid for well in advance in terms of airfare, hotels, club reservations, etc. AFTER everything was paid for, Martin, who previously committed to the trip, tried to back out of it at the last minute and said he didn't want to go anymore. Is that what you would call extortion if you say "too bad, you already committed, pay up"? (this is all according to Lydon Murtha, who was an offensive linemen on the Fins last season when this went down)

So again, how is Martin the victim here, at all? It's not an either or situation, they both can be at fault (and I think they both were). But if Martin wasn't offended by Incognito's joking drunk voicemail, which I doubt he was judging by how he was going around laughing about it with the rest of the team, then what exactly is his beef, here?

Dude is a p*ssy who threw his best friend on the team under the bus because he realized he wasn't cut out for the NFL, but he needed an excuse to keep getting paid. So he blamed his meltdown on Incognito so that the Fins wouldn't put him on the NFI list and he wouldn't have to forfeit the rest of his season's salary.

This is an actual quote from a journalist on Grantland:

:dead:

Sports journalism is at a weird crossroads right now, split between doofus hacks and liberal art school and ivy league English majors who overwrite every fukking thing as if there's a MacArthur grant on the line or something. It makes for a lot of frustrating reads.

Very weird, complex issue all in all. I don't really give much a fukk about it, to be honest. Lockers are vile, foul, juvenile, off color spaces. Always have been. Incognito fukked up using the the term he did, and it's not up to me to judge how offended Martin was by those messages. Still, I don't feel all that much outrage or concern over this shyt. The most interesting thing to me is that Incognito got kicked off two college teams, was on two "do not draft" lists, was the most penalized player in the league for a stretch of time, cost his team a division crown due to his stupidity, got released for cursing out his coach... and I have heard more about players who commit the sins of dancing after touchdowns and waving at opponents than about this motherfukker's bullshyt until recently.

Also, if Incognito was black and Martin was a white dude descended from 3 generations of Ivy Leaguers, the Limbaughs and O'Reillys of the world would be orgasming on themselves while discussing the thug culture of the NFL.

I'd guess youre hearing more windbags talk about endzone dancing than Incognito mostly because Incognito's been clean seemingly for a while now.

If Martin was a white dude descended from three generations of Ivy Leaguers those guys would dislike his act just as much. They hate everything the Ivy League stands for because they feel it breeds opportunists like Martin. Well Oreilly at least....dont think Ive ever listened to Limbaugh honestly.

Ricky Williams was being physically tortured by conservative playcalling and inept qb play. And when he found something to deal with the pain, the league wanted to suspend him. So fukk u

Have you had enough of the Jonathan Martin-Richie Incognito saga yet? Too bad. It's not going anywhere, especially with the explosive statement released Thursday by David Cornwell, an attorney hired to represent Martin in the harassment matter.

Cornwell made an emphatic point, via Pro Football Talk, that Martin's "toughness is not an issue" and then later slammed the door with an allegation that a player said rather ... aggressive things about Martin's sister.

"Jonathan Martin’s toughness is not at issue," Cornwell said. “Jonathan has started every game with the Miami Dolphins since he was drafted in 2012. At Stanford, he was the anchor for Jim Harbaugh’s ‘smash mouth’ brand of football and he protected Andrew Luck’s blind side."

Cornwell described Martin's harassment as something "far beyond" what normally happens in NFL locker rooms.

"Jonathan endured harassment that went far beyond the traditional locker room hazing,” Cornwell said. “For the entire season-and-a-half that he was with the Dolphins, he attempted to befriend the same teammates who subjected him to the abuse with the hope that doing so would end the harassment. This is a textbook reaction of victims of bullying. Despite these efforts, the taunting continued. Beyond the well-publicized voice mail with its racial epithet, Jonathan endured a malicious physical attack on him by a teammate, and daily vulgar comments such as the quote at the bottom. These facts are not in dispute."

That quote? It is a doozy, coming from an unnamed teammate, and it involves some highly inappropriate things directed towards Martin's sister.

"We are going to run train on your sister. ... She loves me. I am going to f*** her without a condom and c** in her c***."

Say whatever you want about things that happen in locker rooms, or even between friends. Saying something like that is incredibly inappropriate and completely unacceptable.

Cornwell's clearly not afraid to stir things up and he's done just that with his Thursday statement about Martin's situation.
