People that say black folks shouldnt be saying nikka have a point.
The constant use of it in music and IRL just keep the word alive in mainstream society. I see so many black folks use it around white people, and even call them nikka. shyt makes no sense. I could see if its just you and the fam playing cards...but I cant ride the bus w/o hearing someone use it...on FB black folks using it towards white folks etc...

Of course whites should know better...but in todays society you have to treat people like children.
Its like when women wear revealing clothing and get mad when guys look, or say something...obviously they should expect that treatment when they walk out the house half naked...but some women want to live in a perfect world where everyone is treated the same no matter how they dress...shyt just isnt realistic.

whites folks have had other experiences/exposure to black folks' actions that demand attention for
-equal/improved community resources
-address police harasement
-entertainment industry casting practices
-professional sports coach / executive grooming and hiring practices

but yet there seems not to be much of a broad and blind acceptance by white folks to support these demands. But because there are black folks that use the n-word, then white folks are influenced to use it too? something does not seem correct with that rational

I don't get the mentality. I got bullied once for one day in 2nd grade by a 6th grader. I told my pops than he said don't go around starting shyt, but you definitely finish it. Gotta be able to stand up and protect yourself. I went back to school the next day and when dude pushed me I put the knucks on him. Dapped his face up so bad they almost expelled me. That's when my pops came around to fight that battle, but I got taught you can't always run to your folks.

So it looks like the black players were empowering Incognito to go at Martin because they didn't really like him. Just looks like overwhelmingly the team just didn't like Martin. It may come out that Incognito was actually the one trying to show him the way and stop being so soft since the black players had no respect for him. I know dudes who come from Huxtable like backgrounds who aren't soft as baby shyt, so it's seeming more like it's just Martin himself.

but we are dealing with men playing a game. This is not the military. If you don't like someone either knuckle up, don't fawk with them, or be professional until you leave work. I don't know too much detail of what is happening, but I'm tired of the varying narratives of what it means to be a professional athlete. Nobody dying and no countries is losing precious land because a football team lost/won

Stop what though? No one in the locker room saw their relationship as toxic. Martin just decided to quit out of the blue...there was nothing to stop.

I don't know why dude chose to stop, but the relationship could still be toxic despite the "acceptance" by everyone on the team

This happens anytime they pull back the curtain on sports and the people that know what's normal pretends like this is some new shyt. The media pushing the outrage knows this shyt exists and have TONS of stories, but never mention it. Warren Sapp was talking on Dan Patrick acting like he didnt bully no one then Keyshawn pulled his card and said he tried with Chidi Ahanotu. MJ bullied Kwame Harris in front of everyone's eyes and no one fukking said anything. This country's media is annoying when they try to drive the image of sports like it's Rudy or Hoosiers.

Ireland shouldn't be allowed in front of a mic, but he should keep his job and so should philbin and incognito. This is for real not that big of a deal.

in what areas of life do people in general go above and beyond to help others? It doesnt really exist.
So why would you think this subject would be any different? People only like to help those who help themselves (in general). Society in general is much different than when my parents came up. Ignoring that is shytting on the achievements of black folks before us.

Equal or improved community resources is a class issue. There are tons of broke white people.
Plus, IMO the lack of resources argument is used a little too much. In Chicago everyone has internet access (either home, school, or local library)...and there is public transportation.

Is police harassment a larger issue than crime in urban areas? We are killing ourselves more than the police are messing w/ us.

The last two dont really matter because entertainment is entertainment. Anyone w/ a camera and an idea can make their own.

Im not saying that to say there arent real issues w/ race in this country...im just saying black folks need to look within. Complaining about white society has never done anything. If You already know what time it is, then work around it.
