According to Rick James, Prince stole his whole style after touring with him
Yeah, on the real tho, Prince did learn a lot from Rick James. Rick said Prince was even biting his mic tricks. Like Rick James would get on the stage and swing the mic around a certain way when performing and he caught that Prince was taking notes and then started doing the same shyt while Prince was on his Fire It Up tour.
A lot of nikkas don't know, but Vanity was rolling with Rick James 1st. Then Prince scooped her up and the rest his history.

When she was with Prince she was doing drugs then too. After she left Prince, she was still out there partying up until the early 90's when she started having serious health issues and had to get back on track. Then she became a born again Christian.
